POEM BOOKLET DESIGN

In this assignment for my typography class, we were tasked with designing a thoughtful booklet featuring a poet of our choice. We had to use type and letterforms to visually represent the work of the poet. I chose the poet Shel Silverstein. Designed in Adobe InDesign.

Expressive, Typographic, and Hybrid Posters

During my typography class, we had to design a poster using text only in an expressive way, one with text only as a readable element, and one with both. Designed in Adobe Illustrator and Indesign.

Logo mark & Mock Event

For my graphic design intro class, we were tasked with choosing a social/civic issue and working on a design solution by creating a mock event/ brand. I created a convention that would gather experts, officials, and the public to combat poor urban design and make our cities more walkable. I designed a combination mark, created merchandise for the event, and created posters to support it and raise brand awareness.

Letterfrom Design Project

For this typography project, we were assigned to design a letterform. I chose the letter “y”. I chose to opt for an illustrative letter, featuring a retro serif style font with a calligraphic flowing letterform dissecting it.
